Hi, I'm Anna
— a Counsellor who’s passionate about supporting adults and teens as they navigate life’s tougher moments. I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and big life transitions. I’m especially drawn to working with young adults as they figure out who they are, build their confidence, and make sense of the pressures that come with growing up in today’s world.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 15 years as a high school teacher, which gave me a deep understanding of adolescent development, school environments, and the wellbeing challenges young people face. That experience still shapes my work today, allowing me to connect easily with teens and support them with approaches that truly fit.
Kindness is at the heart of everything I do. I’m open, real, and grounded in the belief that people heal best when they feel safe, seen, and accepted. My clients often tell me they feel comfortable being themselves with me — and that’s exactly the space I aim to create.
My approach is person-centred and integrative, meaning I tailor my work to what each individual needs. I draw on Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Existential Psychotherapy, Art Therapy and Strengths-Based Therapy to support clients in ways that feel empowering, meaningful and authentic.
If you’re looking for a counsellor who values warmth, honesty and genuine connection, I’d love to walk alongside you on your journey.
Hi, I'm Sue
— an experienced Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 15 years of professional practice.
I have a background in teaching and have worked extensively with children, families, and school communities, including managing the Wellbeing Department within schools. In this role, I tailored
therapeutic approaches for neurodiverse students, became an ABA therapist, facilitated group programs, and trained staff in effective wellbeing practices. This experience has given me a deep understanding of relationship dynamics across different stages of life.
I broadened my clinical expertise through working in rural communities in a Disaster Recovery capacity, where I undertook extensive training in a range of therapeutic approaches. This included becoming a SOLAR practitioner with the Phoenix Institute, as well as supporting communities impacted by floods and fires through the development of safety plans. I also co-authored a wellbeing program with Monash University to support rural communities, which I delivered to schools across
Australia.
I now work predominantly in couples counselling and am trained in a variety of relationship-focused therapies, including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT provides a structured, evidence-based framework for strengthening connection, communication, and emotional safety within relationships. I believe relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and I am passionate about supporting clients to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
I take a planned, individualised approach to therapy, drawing on a broad toolbox of skills and therapies to meet the specific needs that arise in our sessions. I offer a warm and caring environment
and have a proven track record of achieving meaningful outcomes. While I can’t guarantee counselling will “fix” every issue, I can assure you that you will learn practical skills, develop deeper self-awareness, and gain tools to proactively navigate disagreements—so you feel more empowered and in control of your own life.
When you need a skilled and experienced couples counsellor - I’m here to work with you.
